Where it all began
Halvor’s northern roots had long called to us, and when the opportunity came to buy a plot of land at the very tip of the Skagen peninsula, we knew it wasn’t just a place we were buying. It was a life we were choosing.
Skagenhaugen became our anchor.A place to share, to return to, and to belong.
We now divide our time between Vesterålen in the north and Oslo in the south, but our hearts always remain up here. In the light, the raw beauty, and the calm.

We’ve always believed that life is best when it’s shared, and when nature is a part of it.
Skagenhaugen was born from that belief.
We wanted to create a place where time moves a little slower, where people can simply be together without expectations, and where silence frames the good moments.
